They’re in every church...everywhere...people in chronic distress - widows, single parents, the disabled, the elderly. We see these people every Sunday, sit near them in service, greet them as we come and go, but they still suffer alone and silently.
We can help through the New Commandement Men's Ministries (NCMM)!
At Valley Brook, NCMM trains men to effectively and practically minister the love of Christ specifically to widows and single moms within the Valley Brook family. Volunteer teams are formed to help each woman with small projects around their homes.
Men commit to donating 3 hours of their time, one Saturday per month. NCMM teams join the Iron Men gathering at 7:00am and then head out to their respective care recipient homes to serve for 3 hours.

MT. WASHINGTON RETREAT
JULY 29-30 2011!
This yearly event is a great opportunity for guys to get to know each other in a genuine way, while enjoying the great outdoors.
Open men & boys (ages 13+)
COST: $68 per person
Leave Friday morning at 7:00am, enjoy lunch on the road (at your own expense), and arrive at base camp early afternoon to enjoy a light climb.
Retreat cost includes:
- Dinner on Friday night
- Overnight accommodations (comfortable bunk beds & shower/bathroom facilities)
- Breakfast on Saturday morning
Saturday involves a group climb, followed by a late afternoon departure for home. Stop for dinner, at your own expense, on ride home. Arrive back in Granby @ 9:00pm.
