Advent

December 1-24

It's a season to slow down and anticipate and prepare for the celebration of Jesus' birth on Christmas day. It begins the fourth Sunday before Christmas and continues through Christmas Eve.

Each week of Advent has a specific theme: Hope, Love, Joy and Peace.

During Advent, we can focus upon these themes and how Jesus offers each of them to us. We encourage you to find an Advent reading plan to help you slow down and reflect on the reason we celebrate the Christmas season: the arrival of Jesus as a baby and Savior of the world.

We look forward to celebrating Christmas with you.

Whether you join us for all or some of our services and special events, we welcome you and hope you are encouraged and find hope and joy in the love of Christ this Christmas season!

Sundays in December

Sundays | 9:15 & 11:00 AM
Location: Valley Brook, 160 Granville Road, North Granby

This four-week Christmas series looks at God as Emmanuel—God With Us. On Sunday mornings Pastor Clark will take a closer look at how God is with us through the valley, in the desert, on the mountain, and in the waiting.

God is with you through the pain. He comforts you in the waiting. When you’re anxious about your future, God gives you courage. As you climb the mountain, He keeps you safe in His arms. In every moment, you are not alone.

Christmas Eve Services | Tuesday, December 24

Christmas Eve service is a special tradition at Valley Brook. We invite you to come and celebrate the birth of Jesus and the hope He brings with us! It's a one-hour service that includes Christmas music, a message from Pastor Clark and a beautiful candle lighting that everyone takes part in.

All children and students remain in service; we do not offer a nursery or classes on Christmas Eve.
