Hume Winter Camp

We're headed to Hume New England for a fun-filled weekend! The theme for both Middle School and High School winter camp is "Grublandia"!

The weekend includes: Broom Hockey, Box Sled Blitz Contest, Tube Run, Escape Room, Mechanical Bull, Ping Pong Tournament, Gaga Tournament, Foosball Tournament, Laser Tag, Large Group Games, Worship, and Speaker. It's a great weekend to have fun and grow your faith!

Open to: Students in grades 9-12

Cost per Student:

  • Early Bird $175 (through Jan. 12)
  • Regular $185 (Jan. 13-Feb. 2)
  • Late $195 (Feb. 3-Feb. 21)

Blitz All Nighter

March 6, 7:00PM - March 7, 6:45AM

Open to: All Middle School students
Cost: $40

A fun, all-night event! Activities include Laser Quest, Trampoline Park Flight, Bowling, Ice Skating, YMCA Rock Wall. And, pizza!


  • March 6
    Meet at Valley Brook at 7:00PM; Travel by bus to Valley Community Baptist Church, Avon, and the various event locations.
  • March 7
    Return to Valley Brook at 6:45AM

Costa Rica Mission Trip

July 27 - August 3, 2020

Open to: High School students 
Cost: Approximately $1,6000 (includes lodging, airfare, travel insurance & cost of "free day" experience)
Additional Expenses: Students will need to cover the cost of food at airports and any souvenir purchases

Deposit Deadline:

  • Submit $500 no later than March 29
  • Click here to pay deposit online

Trip Overview:

The team's time will be split between two areas:

  • City of Alajuelita
    Activities may include: prayer walks, visiting families, working with children in the parks, serving a local school, helping at a feeding center, serving at a local orphanage.

  • Town of Horquetas
    Activities may include: helping at the Children's Ranch (work on the farm, help build and prep buildings), serving in an after school program in town.
