Common Questions

What are the service times and location?

Sundays | 10:00 AM
160 Granville Road, North Granby, CT 06060

Online Campus: We also livestream our service where you can worship, participate in the chat area and request prayer.

Can I remain anonymous?

You can relax when you visit Valley Brook. No one is going to single you out or put a visitor sticker on you. You will be warmly welcomed as you enter. Greeters will be available if you have questions.

After the service, you can enjoy light refreshments and hang out as long as you like.

What is the atmosphere like?

Relaxed and the dress is generally casual. You will see everything from a suit and tie to jeans and shorts. At Valley Brook, you can relax, enjoy the service, and be yourself.

What is the music like?

We have a band with upbeat contemporary music. You'll hear songs you can relate to; contemporary and some traditional ones.

What are your messages like?

Our pastor teaches practical, relevant messages. Each one is designed to address real everyday issues we all face. Things like parenting, family issues, addictions, or financial tensions.

How long is the service?

Our services generally last no longer than 65 minutes.

Will you ask me for money?

You won't be asked for money - we're more interested in helping you with your spiritual journey than in your money.

While we do receive an offering, we do not ask guests to participate. People who call this their church home fund Valley Brook through their giving.

How often do you celebrate communion?

We celebrate communion on the first Sunday of every month.

What do you offer for my children?

We are passionate about helping children come to know and love Jesus. We desire to see all children have the opportunity to hear about Jesus while in a safe, clean, and loving environment.

We offer "Children's Church" for kids ages 5 - Grade 5. This program meets during the entire 10:00AM service.

All volunteers who work with our children and youth have been through a background screening process.

What do you offer for babies and younger children?

Prior to COVID we offered a well-staffed, safe nursery for infants and toddlers up to 23 months of age and a preschool program for our little ones. Now that we're back meeting in person for services we are assessing our resources and tentatively plan to restart our nursery and preschool program in September.

The nursery is located conveniently near the worship area so you have quick access to your child. We are a church with young families, so we all understand what it's like to have babies!

Do you have a dedicated space for nursing moms?
We also provide a nursing mother's room that is located near the entrance to our Children's Ministry wing.
